Flower Garden #2 ~ Embroidered Wall Hanging

I have been making these little embroidered flower gardens for a while now for greeting cards and what not, but when this one landed on this piece of scrap Guatemalan cloth, I knew the two had to be together. The colors of the woven textile really bring out the colors of the embroidered flowers, and vice versa. I attached the garden to the piece of Guatemalan cloth and then backed the whole piece with another piece of my hand dyed fabric with a layer of low rise quilt batting in between.. Finished piece measures 6 inches by 12 inches and has a sturdy hanging loop in the back.
