3XL Unisex Tank Top – Ice Dyed Rainbow DNA

This fun one of a kind tank was made by us using fiber reactive dyes in a process known as ice dyeing. This is where we prepare the fabric as usual for tie dyeing but instead of using liquid dye we use raw dye powder and ice , which melts over time and because of gravity is pulled slowly through the fabric . This results in the colors sometimes breaking into their component parts and re-combining in somewhat unexpected ways as they make their way through the fabric. The pieces made this way have an almost watercolor like effect, so different from traditional tie dye.
